    Taylor Root was my first legal recruitment job after training to be a lawyer with Herbert Smith and I immediately felt at home. The company has a distinct culture; hardworking but laidback, friendly, professional and honest. I joined in London and moved out to Singapore soon afterwards to help open the new office. This was invaluable experience in launching into a new market and I was proud to see the office grow to become the leading legal search agency in SE Asia. I’m now leading the build-out of the brand in the North America market, so have relocated to New York, supported by our global leadership team in all our other offices.

    Prior to going into recruitment, I worked in software sales for a global FTSE Tech company. A friend of mine who was doing really well in recruitment knew I was getting tired of driving up and down the M1 visiting various IT managers and so he suggested coming in for a meeting. Although I had not considered legal and compliance recruitment before I liked the fact that I would be working in a corporate environment, dealing directly with decision makers and hiring managers.
