Taylor Root 7s Tournament 2011
Taylor Root helps to raise £6,000 for The Wooden Spoon at the annual Law Society Taylor Root Rugby 7’s tournament.
On Sunday September 18th 2011 Taylor Root were proud to sponsor the Law Society’s annual rugby sevens tournament, an event the firm have been supporting for over a decade.

Held at Richmond Rugby Ground, 30 teams from leading law firms took part in the tournament and helped to raise £6,000 for the charity. The event is hugely competitive, and saw the Law Society RFC A team competing with Herbert Smith in the grand final of the plate competition. Herbert Smith were the winners on the day, with an excellent 33 - 5 win.
Congratulations also to Watson Farley & Williams who won the plate competition as well as the Fair Play award.
The family orientated day is held in aid of The Wooden Spoon. Spoon is the charity of British and Irish rugby and its work helps physically, socially and mentally disadvantaged children and young people all over the UK and Ireland.
