The role of the PSL has evolved considerably in recent years and we have seen a continued growth in the market for PSLs. The variety of roles has increased and now they extend from a sole PSL within a department to Director of Knowledge Management positions and whatever you are looking for in your next move there any many choices available to you.
One of the many attractions to a PSL position is the ability to have more control and structure to your working week. Many firms are able to offer not only structured hours but also greater flexibility such as working from home or working part-time.
It goes without saying that if you are the only PSL in a team or are joining as the first PSL to build up the support function you may be needed on a full time bases and joining a team of PSLs may offer a greater flexibility for part time working.
