Accommodation

The majority of UK lawyers will initially rent apartments or small homes and then choose to buy once settled on the island. The local newspapers have a list of advertisements and there are a number of reputable real estate agents who are on hand to assist with rentals and sales. Unlike other jurisdictions, there is no specific location that expats gravitate towards. Just pick your favourite beach or view and look for houses/apartments nearby.

Expect to pay $600-$1000 per month for a studio, $800-$1500 per month for a one bedroom apartment, $1200-$2000 per month for a two bedroom apartment, $2000+ for a two bedroom house and $3000+ for a three bedroom house with a pool. All of these prices are for fully furnished accommodation. Unfurnished rentals will cost you less.
