Paralegals are a core part of the legal support industry in The Middle East and there is a continued demand for experienced paralegals.
Arabic speaking paralegals are highly sought after due to the nature of the legal industry in the Middle East. However there is a shortage of such candidates so this opens additional opportunities to experienced paralegals within the region. The majority of successful candidates have gained their law degree and either completed their GDL or ILEX paralegal qualification. Occasionally, NQ lawyers also start their career as a Paralegal in the region as it is the best career route to gain valuable experience of working within the legal industry.
