Amanda Atherton - Compliance
Amanda joined Taylor Root in July 2006 to specialise in financial services recruitment, in the area of compliance and operational risk. Amanda commenced her career with Martin Ward Anderson in the UK in 1997 within banking & finance and since relocating back to Australia in 2001, has focused on the recruitment of legal and compliance professionals within financial services.
Brian Rollo - In-house
Brian has 6 years’ recruitment experience, and has been recruiting Banking and Finance lawyers since 2004 in both London and Sydney. A law graduate from the University of Glasgow in 2000, Brian originally worked in London for 4 years, before moving to Sydney in 2006, specialising in the in-house market. He joined Taylor Root in mid-2008, and manages the In-House Banking and Finance team.

David Buckley - Practice & In-house
David has been recruiting lawyers since 1996, both in London and Sydney, working with private practice and in-house corporate clients on a permanent and contract basis. David is a partner of Taylor Root and manages the business in Australia. He specialises in recruiting lawyers into in-house roles together with working on senior private practice assignments. Qualified in the UK with Hammond Suddards, David practised law in the area of banking litigation.
Kiran Sangha - Private Practice
Kiran graduated in law in 2004 and worked in legal recruitment for two years in Sydney before joining Taylor Root in 2006. Kiran works in the Private Practice team and specialises in recruiting lawyers Australia-wide.
Laura Evans - Private Practice
Laura gained her undergraduate degree from Nottingham University in 2004, during which time she also studied at the University of Illinois in the U.S. She then went on to complete the GDL and LPC at BPP Law School in London. Laura joined TR London in 2006 as a graduate and relocated to Sydney in 2007. She is a consultant on the National Private Practice Team and specialises in recruiting lawyers Australia-wide.

Matt Harris - Private Practice
Matt is a Business Studies graduate who spent 9 years recruiting into the central London legal market before joining the Sydney office of Taylor Root in January 2008. He is part of the Sydney private practice team focusing on positions within a variety of top-tier firms.

Rachael Duggan - Private Practice
Rachael graduated from Macquarie University in Sydney with a degree in Arts and Law. She joined Taylor Root in January 2004 as a consultant, having previously worked in the Sydney recruitment market for three years. Rachael is the Manager of the National Private Practice team; she specialises in the recruitment of lawyers at all levels within the top tier, mid-tier and specialist legal firms.
Sandra D'Souza - International
Sandra graduated from the University of Western Australia with degrees in Law and Science (Honours in Anthropology). After being admitted to practice in 2003, she worked at Colin Biggers & Paisley in their Insurance Division. Sandra joined Taylor Root in 2004 and has been recruiting lawyers, both overseas and in Australia, since that time. She sits within the International team and is responsible for placing Australian and New Zealand qualified lawyers around the world including; UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia, US and Offshore.
Toby Rakison - In-house
Toby has six years’ recruitment experience within both London and Sydney. A French and Business graduate, he joined Taylor Root in early 2006 to focus on the Sydney In-House Commerce and Industry market.
