Michael Luckett - Private Practice
Michael graduated from UMIST with a degree in International Management and French and then completed his CPE and LPC at the College of law, Guildford. Michael qualified into Ashurst's employment group before starting his recruitment career at Garfield Robbins in July 2004. Michael joined the London private practice team in June 2005 and worked there for seven months before joining the Hong Kong office's private practice team in January 2006.

Rebecca Rogers - Private Practice
Rebecca graduated from Oxford University in 2003 where she read Jurisprudence. After completing the LPC in Oxford, she trained with Freshfields in London. Rebecca spent the last six months of her training contract on secondment to the Hong Kong office of Freshfields, and on qualification in February 2007, joined Taylor Root's Private Practice team in Hong Kong.

Andrew Wallace - Private Practice
Andrew graduated from University with a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws. He started a company and successfully ran his own business for two years before joining a leading legal recruitment firm in Australia. He subsequently joined Taylor Root in January 2008 and works on the private practice team in the Hong Kong office.

Laurence Munoz - In-house
Laurence is a UK and Australian-qualified lawyer, with experience of working in-house as a legal adviser for a finance company for two years before moving into specialist legal recruitment in 1995. After heading up the legal division of a boutique search and selection firm in London, Laurence joined Heidrick & Struggles in 2000 and concentrated on senior level Search assignments for major International law firms and corporations. She was transferred to their Hong Kong office in 2002 to help build their Asian legal search capability. Laurence is currently with Taylor Root's Hong Kong office where she heads the In-house and Banking division. She has a successful track record of recruiting General Counsel and senior legal advisers for leading Investment Banks and multinationals.

Karin Montague-Damen - In-house
Karin graduated from Leiden University in The Netherlands with a law degree (MA equivalent). After graduating she worked as a lawyer for six years, firstly in private practice at BarentsKrans, a well known Dutch law firm in The Hague, and subsequently as an in-house lawyer for ING Bank in Amsterdam, where she later moved to become an in-house recruiter. Karin then moved to Hong Kong where she joined a global recruitment company as a legal recruiter, successfully working on both private practice and in-house assignments. Karin joined Taylor Root in 2007 and specialises in recruiting in-house lawyers into corporate and banking positions in the Asia region.

Liam Richardson - In-house
Liam graduated from the University of Leicester with a law degree before completing his LPC in London in 2004. He joined the graduate programme at Taylor Root in September of that year and upon successful completion became a consultant working on legal recruitment into corporates, financial services and investment banks. In January 2006 Liam relocated to Taylor Root's Hong Kong office where he focuses on the recruitment of lawyers and compliance personnel into in-house and banking positions in the Asia region.

James Hickman - Compliance
James graduated from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London and completed his Master's degree in Chinese politics, economics and law from the University of Sydney. He began his career in Hong Kong as a corporate training consultant working with law firms and financial institutions. James previously worked at boutique investment banking executive search firm Global Sage, and has a successful track record of assisting investment banks in the recruitment of mid-level and senior management hires across a range of disciplines in the AsiaPac region, including Japan. James currently works closely with our clients in the financial services and insurance sector to identify key compliance and risk management staff throughout Asia.
